Q: How many different varieties of glass block can I choose from?

A: There are 50 different pieces that can be used for both interior or exterior applications and an additional 16 pieces for interior applications only. (66 Interior & 50 Exterior).

Q: What is "Metalized"?

A: The Metalized edge coating is a mirror reflective coating applied to the edge of the glass block. The mirror is facing the interior of the block on all sides. Essentially, this edge coating reflects and amplifies the color of the block itself and provides a chrome-metallic appearance to the solid glass edge of the block.

Q: Can you see through the block?

A: The "Smooth" finish blocks and 14 of the Mendini collection are absolutely transparent. The Wavy pattern block slightly obscures the clarity. All of the Satin and 2 of the Mendini collection are totally obscure.

Q: Can I mix and match the block?

A: Absolutely! You can mix any color, pattern or finish within the Pegasus series and mix any colors within the Mendini collection.

Q: What are the dimensions of the blocks?

A: The blocks are nominally sized 7.48" X 7.48" X 3.125". With the exception of the new construction CrystaLok windows, the thickness of the window or wall will be 3 1/8".

Q: Are the 7.48" square blocks the only size available?

A: The Mendini collection is available only in the 7.48" square size. Some of the blocks in the Pegasus series come in half blocks, 90 degree corners and finished end blocks. The representative will be able to advise you what other shapes and sizes are available in the Pegasus series.

Q: How do I install my new wall or window?

A: There are several options. Our representative will work with you to determine the best installation for your specific project.

New construction windows can be ordered with our new construction vinyl frame. (The final window dimension will be 1½" wider and taller than the dimensions shown.
Replacement glass bock windows are glazed together with our ClearBond silicone glazing.
Interior walls; depending on their size, can be either pre-assembled with our ClearBond glazing, supplied in an easy do-it-yourself kit which includes our VetroQuick snap-together spacer system, or for radius walls or irregular openings, we can supply masonry accessories like spacers, reinforcing and anchors. (We suggest enlisting the help of someone familiar with glass block masonry for the latter.)

Q: How do I know which installation option is best for my application?

A: When you submit your information for a quote, the representative who contacts you will help determine the best installation method.

Q: How do I place an order?

A: When you submit the "Request a Quote" form your design will be forwarded with your contact information to a company representative. They will help finalize your order.

Q: How long does it take to get my product once I place my order?

A: Typically between 10 days and 2 weeks, but extended lead times may be necessary based on your product selection and application type.
